Recharge For Resiliency (R4R)
Recharge for Resiliency (R4R) is the capstone for resiliency programming across the Air Force and Space Force. R4R provides resources that foster culture, mission, and a sense of community among Airmen/Guardians and their families.
R4R comprises three components:
- RecOn : Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard personnel and their family members.
- Single Airmen Program Initiative (SAPI): Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard officer or enlisted without a spouse.
- and Deployed Affected Program (DAP): Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard personnel and their family members. Deployment orders required. (4 months prior to deployment & up to one year following deployment. Open to spouse plus one guest while member is deployed.)

RECON
*Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard personnel and their family members.
This program provides resources for outdoor-centric, high adrenaline, post deployment stress reduction, only available through FSS Outdoor Recreation Centers. This program offers free or heavily discounted events to active duty members stationed here at Hill and their dependents are eligible. Examples of RecOn events in the past have been White Water Rafting, Skydiving, Rock Climbing, and more!
iFly Indoor Skydiving | 7 April 2023
Experience flying into wind speeds up to 150 mph. Participants will have an evening of indoor sky diving. Trip includes gear, and safety instructions.

Moab Adventure Trip | 21-23 April 2023
Come experience the wonderous views of Moab.
Trip includes: transportation, accommodations at the Hampton Inn Moab
Select 1 adventure trip to participate in from the following list: Moab hummer tour, Arches national park tour, canyoneering, rappelling, rock climbing, zip lining, mountain biking tour, river rafting and horseback riding. (Minimum age to attend is 12 yrs old)

Stargazing Tour | 3 May 2023
Attendees will have a hands on experience learning about astronomy, the moon, stars, and planets. Looking through the observatory shaped like the Hubble telescope, attendees will experience the wonder of space and stargazing.

Skydive Ogden, Utah | 12 May 2023
Attendees will have an instruction briefing, 20 min scenic plane ride, 60 sec tandem free fall, 7 min parachute ride, and 1st jump certificate. Adventure will take place in Ogden, UT.
Trip includes transportation, instructor, and skydive adventure.

Guided UTV Tour | 30 June 2023
Participants will see the pristine 22,000 acres of the Wasatch Mountain state park while riding in a 4 person UTV. The 2 hour ride is full of thrills & beautiful views. A safety briefing will be provided before the trip. All skill levels are welcome to participate.

Park City Olympic Park | 8 July 2023
Attendees will have 3 hours to experience unlimited use of alpine slide, extreme tubing, extreme zip lining, freestyle jump, discovery course, canyon course, summit course, drop tower, airbag jumps, and scenic chairlifts.

Via Ferrata Adventure | 12 July 2023
Participants will climb fixed cables and ladders to the summit to enjoy Ogden’s most beautiful waterfall, 4-5 hour of climbing.

Weber River Rafting | 13 July 2023
Attendees will raft the weber river with an experienced guide. While rafting the river attendees can take in the scenic views, potential wildlife, and some mild rapids. Rafting will take 2-2.5 hours.

Adventure Park Bear Lake Trip | 9 Aug 2023

SINGLE AIRMAN PROGRAM INITIATIVE (SAPI)
*Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, and Guard officer or enlisted without a spouse.
The initiative provides a wide variety of social and positive recreation opportunities through Force Support Squadron (FSS) recreational activities. Also, the program offers Morale Welfare and Recreation (MWR)-life skills classes to “create a single Airman/Guardian culture that supports the “whole person” – healthy lifestyle,” improve technology and communication within FSS programs and activities. Air Force and Space Force Active Duty or Air Reserve Component officer or enlisted member without a spouse are eligible.
iRock Climbing Wall | 17 March 2023
Participants will enjoy a family-friendly indoor bouldering and rock climbing facility.
The climbing wall provides 2,520 sq ft. of beginner to intermediate indoor rock climbing.

DEPLOYED AFFECTED PROGRAM (DAP)

This program is for the family of a deployed service member. The deployed service member and their families may also attend the event up to a year after their return! This program offers heavily discounted events to those affected by deployment.
